Finally! Following months of speculation and waiting, the moment has finally arrived. The much-awaited iPhone 7 release is happening in a week’s time. And though the date was speculated and rumored, the sudden invitations have made the wait to feel even more difficult.
Apple just announced the launch date for its newest iPhone. The Californian tech giant has started sending out invites to a product launch scheduled for September 7th. There could be a possible new Apple Watch along with the unveiling of the iPhone 7. Other than that, Apple has stayed true to its form and given nothing else away. So we the technophiles are left hanging with the wait. Thankfully it’s only a week.
Apple usually launches its products in early September so it can see off the year with high sales. And we cannot help but anticipate Tim Cook showing off the new features and upgrades to the next generation iPhone.
The invitation features a bunch of colorful blurry dots which could possibly mean improvements to the camera. It emulates a photography style known as Bokeh. So we may possibly expect for a dual lens camera. Or maybe they are water droplets on a phone screen, strongly hinting towards a waterproof iPhone.
Apple’s seemingly favorite venue for product launches, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco will again host the event on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:00 a.m. It is the same place where Apple held its World Wide Developers Conference this year. The highlights to the WWDC is here if you wish to check it out.
The new iPhone may be yet slimmer than the iPhone 6s Plus if the newly speculated rumors that Apple is forgoing the 3.5 mm audio jack. No matter the number of rumors and anticipations, we will only know for sure in the actual release.
Meanwhile, we only have the satisfaction that the iPhone 7 release is only a short wait away.
