OAC Mountain Festival is going to be held on 29th of May 2018 starting 2 P.M. to 10 P.M. Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal will be organizing the festival at Amrit Marg Bhawagwan Bahal Thamel, Kathmandu (Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal).
29th May marks the first ascent of Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and also the end of the spring climbing season. This year, on 29th May 2018, Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal will host its first OAC Mountain Festival to welcome home all the heroes who inspire and motivate millions around the world. The event will be organized in partnership, support, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
The festival, OAC Mountain Festival, is being organized to welcome home all the heroes at the end of the spring climbing season to celebrate success and reflect memories of their adventure. The social gathering will help climbers to forget their difficult times on the mountain and appreciate the joy and success of their accomplishment while getting back to their normal lives.
The organizers hope to create an environment to respect and honor the guiding profession and mountaineering sport and to acknowledge and appreciate their courage, achievement, and contribution to the economy; both by Nepalese and International friends.
The ticket price for the event will be NPR. 1000 (with one complimentary drink) and NPR. 500 for entry only.
