National Youth Conference 2019, a wonderful platform for youths to focus on various trending topics is all set to be organized from August 10 to 12 in Kathmandu. The event is going to aim towards Tourism, Gender Equality, Youth Leadership and Youth Entrepreneurship.
The National Youth Conference 2019 event is being held on the occasion of International Youth Day 2019. It will feature youths from all 77 districts including both male and female participants.
There will be a total of 204 delegates including 77 participants each from both gender categories – male and female and 50 other from different communities. According to the organizers the distribution of participants from different categories would encourage more women to participate in the event.
Youths aged from 18 to 30 who’re working, studying or doing any kind of social services are considered eligible to participate in National Youth Conference 2019. The participants must carry a recommendation letter from their local government showing proofs of their academic or working activities. Also, before the conference, participants from each province must consider a press conference and submit a press release to the chief minister.
After the event, the participants must submit the declaration and press release to the chief minister of their respective province and local level. NYC has a province coordinator in each province of Nepal. Each province will be given a stall where participants can exhibit different stuffs promoting their province.
Similar to past years, best idea of action plan from each province will be given seed money in the conference. As mentioned earlier, the event will feature action plans related to Tourism (Visit Nepal 2020), 50 Under 50 (Gender Equality), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Youth Leadership and Youth Entrepreneurship.
