The world’s most popular show – Game of Thrones has finally come to an end. Finally, someone has sat on the throne for good, after all those conspiracies, battles, blood, and fire.
Game of Thrones, the show initiated around eight years back has now turned into something very big in the television world and has become one of the most loved show by the audience. The show ended its watch on Sunday night with many questions unanswered. It sure had the ending one would never expect from a show like that.
The previous episode, where Dany burned down King’s Landing came as quite a shock to everyone and therefore, audiences were not happy with how things were wrapping up. There were so many fan theories and predictions made for the final episode.
As for the last episode of Game of Thrones, there were so many things happening at the same time. Jon Snow AKA Aegon Targaryen stabbed his aunt/lover—his queen at that very moment—Daenerys Targaryen and went back to the Night’s Watch, Bran “the Broken” sat on the throne, Sansa Stark, as the queen in the North declared the North independent and Ghost finally got his moment with Jon Snow. Tyrion Lannister served as the hand of the King and characters like Bron, Ser Davos, and Samwell were members of the king’s council. These were the major parts of the final episode. Game of Thrones, the show that was filled with so much drama, plots, and betrayal had a happy ending, now who would have thought about that?
On a personal note, I was not really content with the ending it had. Since the show had created so much fuss and had always stood out the expectations of the audience, this time, it ended well and that too in such a short period of time. Everything happened so swiftly and that was not gratifying, in my opinion.
Well, the series has now come to an end. There is a news that shoot for the prequel of Game of Thrones has begun and will be aired once finished. In June 2018, HBO revealed that the Game of Thrones prequel story would feature the Age of Heroes, thousands of years before the War of the Five Kings. The prequel will also emphasize the origin of White Walkers.
Now that the series is over, all we can do is discuss and wait for the books from George R. R. Martin.
Do you watch Game of Thrones too? Was the ending satisfying for you? Share your thoughts.

I am a die hard fan of this show, and I love how it started and all. But this season has turned me down quite a bit as the show has increased the pace (by quite a lot) making people hard to understand the scenario. I am quite satisfied with the ending though. The writers had decided how the show ends from the beginning and done well. My opinion is they should have extended to one or more season.
I totally agree with you. One more season with accurate character arcs would have made the show even better, bigger, and fun to watch.
