The first-ever Huawei phone with a pop-up camera has finally landed in Nepal. Huawei Y9 Prime was launched internationally back in January this year and there were some questions about the phone being launched here in Nepal. However, the phone is finally here and serves a promising look.
Huawei Y9 Prime is available in Nepal for NPR. 29,990. And with that amount you get a nice smartphone with 4GB RAM and storage of 64 GB. Check out the specs in this mid-range smartphone.

The main attraction in Huawei Y9 Prime is the pop camera it boasts. The phone has a 6.59” display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has an eye-pleasing glass-covered front look, whereas the back is made of plastic. It comes in three different colors – Emerald Green, Mid-night Black, and Sapphire Blue.
The front pop up camera of 16 MP, f/2.0 gives the phone a magnificent look. There are 3 cameras at the rear: 16 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP.
The phone is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 710F (12 nm) Octa-core processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. As mentioned earlier, the mid-range phone has 4 GB RAM and for storage purpose, it comes with 64 GM of ROM. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9. The Huawei Y9 Prime comes with a 4,000 mAh battery. The battery features a USB Type-C port. The new Y9 Prime has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Having a look at the specs and its price, maybe a little more specs would have made the phone better like a little higher camera MP (it is my personal view though). However, if you want an unobstructed full display at an affordable price, the phone sure deserves a pick.
What do you think? Is Huawei Y9 Prime a YAY or NAH?
