Samsung Nepal has launched two of its new flagship smartphones—Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ at an event in Kathmandu on Monday. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones are expected to reimagine the way people communicate, share and experience the world.
The 5.8 inch Galaxy S9 costs NPR. 87,900 and comes in only one color: Midnight Black. On the other hand, the 6.2 inch Galaxy S9+ costs NPR. 99,900 and comes in three distinctive colors: Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple. Pre-booking of the smartphones have begun and will be available in stores starting March 23.
Samsung Nepal will host a lucky draw among the pre-bookers of Galaxy S9 and S9+. The first winner will be awarded a free round-trip ticket to any Turkish Airline destination of his/her choice, whereas, the second winner will get to enjoy two nights stay for a couple at either Himalayan Front Resort or Water Front Resort and two third winners will get Samsung Fit2 Pro each.
The new smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are packed with innovative features such as Dual Aperture Lens, personalized AR Emoji and more.
Both of the flagships feature a first of its kind dual aperture lens (F1.5/F2.4) that acts similar to the way the iris of a human eye expands and contracts. The new feature lets you capture stunning pictures in bright daylight and even in the super low light.
Next level slow-motion – Supper Slow-mo is another new feature related to camera enhancements in the new flagships. The super slow-mo lets you shoot at an incredible speed of 960 frames per second, credits to the super speed sensor in Galaxy S9 and S9+.
With the latest S9/S9+, users can now rely on automatic motion detection—an intelligent feature that detects movement in the frame—to automatically start recording.
