Pinkathon was originally founded by former Indian swimmer, model, actor, film producer, and fitness promoter Milind Soman and Managing Director of Maximus Mice and Media Solution, Reema Sanghavi with the aim of empowering women through health awareness. Pinkathon, which was held in Mumbai for the first in 2012, is the biggest women’s running event in India and is organized annually in eight cities in India.

Mr. Soman says, “It’s not only a race and it’s more than women empowerment and more than women health. Women should be encouraged to take up some physical activities, be it running, yoga or aerobics.”

Namraj Joshi, the Pinkathon Franchise owner said that Nepal Athletics Association had not helped them since the beginning and now they no more expect support from them.

Pinkathon Kathmandu 2019 is a great approach to raise awareness of women’s health. Be a part of this amazing event and help make our nation a better place to live for women.
