The Cottage and Small Industries Development Board (CSIDB) is going to organize the Industrial Exhibition at Bhrikutimandap exhibition hall in Kathmandu from February 23. This is the 28th edition of this exhibition and it will last for six days.
According to Board Acting Executive Director, Ramesh Chandra Upadhyay, this Industrial Exhibition carries the theme ‘Let Us be Proud of Made in Nepal and Use Homemade Products’. And it will showcase cottage and local products.
This expo is organized with the objective of marketing the home made products and domestic brands in the national and international level. The exhibition also aims to update stakeholders about the present status of the cottage and small industries, industrial development, and technological enhancement at the global level.
There will be more than 300 stalls on display. Small and cottage industries’ entrepreneurs from all 75 districts of the country will be participating in this industrial exhibition.
Committee Spokesperson Rajendra Mishra shared that the best cottage industrialists would be awarded during the event aiming to provide the national and international market to locally produced produces. He further said that this industrial exhibition will not only promote the products in the domestic market, but also provide a platform for the entrepreneurs to promote their products in the international market.
Garments made of natural fiber, gemstones available in Jajarkot and Surkhet, nettle powder, herbal products, metal utensils, Mithila arts, bamboo crafts and goods, Khukuri, handmade paper, organic coffee, textile products, garments made from handloom and leather products are some of the goods that will be showcased in the exhibition.
