Nepal International Trade Fair is going to be held on 8th of March, 2018. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the largest private sector umbrella body is hosting the 7th edition of Nepal International Trade Fair from 8th of March to the 12th at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The fair, Nepal International Trade fair is being organized to promote Nepali goods and services and to provide a platform to Nepali businesspersons to establish a relationship with foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and traders. The fair is targeting to promote industrial goods of the country on both the domestic and international markets. According to FNCCI, the fair will be attended by about 2,00,000 Nepali and foreign visitors.
The five-day fair aims to assemble traders, investors, and entrepreneurs of South Asian countries, China, Thailand, and Malaysia. The fair, Nepal International Trade Fair is co-organized by Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal, promoted by the Trade and Export Promotion Centre and assisted by the Ministry of Commerce.
FNCCI has said that the trade fair will showcase local and foreign products through 300 stalls. The core charm of the fair is Nepali handmade handicraft products, large cardamom, tea, ginger, synthetic hides and chyangra pashmina, which are being supported through the governments National Trade Integration Strategy. These stalls will provide information on agricultural and energy products, education, information, technology, pharmacy, transportation, buildings and construction materials.
“The fair will be essential to invite investors in Nepal and expand international entrepreneurial relations,” mentioned the FNCCI. Nepal International Trade Fair regularly helps to attract international investment and technology, promote the international market for domestic production and aid the national economy.
