Asian Youth Assembly 2018

Asian Youth Assembly 2018 is going to be held on 11th of August 2018 which will begin from 10 A.M. The two-day event will be hosted and organized by Youth Parliament Nepal.

The event, Asian Youth Assembly 2018 aims to gather young leaders, innovators, peacemakers, youth activists, and civil society pioneers from around Asia in a single forum to share their experiences and knowledge on pertinent Asian issues. The theme of Asian Youth Assembly 2018 is ‘Revitalizing Asian Youth Integration for Climate Change in the ERA of SDGs’.

Asian Youth Assembly 2018 is a platform for young leaders to share and learn about the best particles through mutual learning on ideas and initiatives of advocacy tools to achieve sustainable development goals from the youth perspective and encourage youth to lobby them in their own respective governments. It is an opportunity to find collaborators, get connected with scholars, researchers, and community leaders to share and explore the different ideas of climate change, youth leadership, and SDGs.

You can apply for the youth assembly here. The price for the form for the assembly will be NPR. 10000 (foreign delegates) and NPR. 5000 (Nepali delegates). The fee will cover all the food, accommodation, and local transportation during the assembly. The application fee will not cover your flight to Kathmandu and back (does not cover your pick-up from the nearest airport in Kathmandu –TIA, will not cover the VISA fee, insurance, or any other incidental expenses).

Youth and Students of all level (age group 18 to 40); early career researchers, young professionals from all countries in the fields related to scholarly and scientific research (advocates, young innovators, NGO workers) Applicants must be eighteen years of age and not older than 40 to Asian Youth Assembly 2018.

Youth Parliament Nepal wants to highly encourage those who have ideas for new projects and initiatives in addition to those who are already leading them. The most important criteria is an interest in the facilitation of a debate and development of resolutions on the best way forward to achieve SDGs and a commitment to taking action.
