A unique kind of bike tour is going to be organized in Nepal, where CEOs of Nepali startup companies will go on a 3-day tour to Pokhara from Kathmandu. This tour called CEOs on Bike is meant to bring together the Startup community in Nepal and share a travel experience together.
The tour is being organized by Everest School of Startups (ESOS). The tour is expecting to see the participation of dozens of Nepali startup founders as well as successful and renowned young entrepreneurs from India. This tour surely will give you a real experience of entrepreneurship.
The tour will flag from Maitighar, Kathmandu on Friday, June 2 at 7:00 in the morning. The bikers will have a stop and rest of 10 minutes after every 50 km of the journey, have a tea break for half an hour at 10 am and a lunch break for one and half hour at around 1 pm. Every biker should maintain a speed of 40km/hr and ride together with fellow startup folks.
After reaching Pokhara, the bikers will check in at Bajeko Sekuwa Pokhara Branch and take their rooms, rest for an hour or so, assemble for dinner and network with fellow CEOs.
On the very next day of the tour, there will be a “June Prestige Talk” session in Pokhara with the startup community and also a startup get together as well. There will also be some activities that will boost your startup enthusiasm.
Participants will be free to roam around Pokhara after the program. At night, all the attendees will have an experience based feedback and activity session that will be followed by some party and celebration.
The CEOs will travel back from Pokhara to Kathmandu on 4th June at 10 am, with the same rules as on the first day.
Speaking about the idea of organizing such a program, Aarif Shafi Khanyari, CEO/Founder of ESOS says, “The idea of organizing this tour came in my mind after working closely with the startup community in Nepal. It is meant to take them on a trip together to realize them the journey of entrepreneurship, and how an entrepreneur has to go through hardships after kick-starting a venture, and finally reaching their destination.” He further added, “This tour will be altogether a new experience of riding and traveling in perspective of startup.”
This will be an annual event organized by ESOS to showcase your existence. The organizers have also invited few media houses from TV and Online to cover this event.
