The first one in our today’s list is the Volcano Boarding in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is located at Central American isthmus that lies between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is famous for its dramatic terrain of lakes, beaches, and volcanoes. The country consists volcanoes of every kind—from active to dormant to extinct and people from around the globe come to explore the volcanoes on board. Volcano Boarding is quite popular there and known to be the best way to really explore the beautifully formed volcanoes. One of the most popular volcanoes to go for volcano boarding is Cerro Negro. It is probably the youngest among all the other volcanoes in Central America. Whizzing down a 728m slope in a custom-built sandboard is sure an adventure to experience. Sky-High Glass Walkway, Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park, China

The Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park, located at Central China includes one of the most thrilling sky-high bridges in the world that is entirely made-up of glass – Sky-high Glass Bridge. The bridge is nearly 390 feet above the ground. Appearing to float off a mountainside, the bridge extends 262 feet into the air. If you’re scared of heights, this is definitely not your cup of tea. This glass walkway is the longest cantilever bridge in the world and is completely transparent so that you can appreciate (or not) the severe drop beneath the sheet of glass that supports you. Only 30 visitors can experience this thrilling glass walkway at one time.

The Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park in China is known to be the home for the world’s most terrifying thrills with a bunch of sky-high attractions. Except for the glass walkway, the park also includes a swing on the edge of a 1000-foot cliff, the 500 foot-high gap bridge, gargantuan roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, and more.

Zip World Velocity, located at Penrhyn Slate Quarry in North Wales is the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in Europe. Going for zip lining can offer you the close experience to skydiving without actually having to jump out of an airplane. The zip line is 500 ft. above a quarry lake and boasts stunning view as far out as Ireland. Flying headfirst, for just under a mile, exceeding the speed of 100mph down a mountain and straight over a cliff, isn’t that a thrilling sport to perform?

Hiking till Trolltunga is quite famous among the tourists. When it comes to the thrilling part, daring to stop and stand at the top of Trolltunga with the breathtaking view in front of you is as adventurous as walking on the glass walkway. Trolltunga is one of the most spectacular scenic cliffs in Norway. Trolltunga is a rock formation with a thin silver of rock that is perfect for creative photographs. It is situated about 1100 meters above sea level, hovering 700m above the lake, Ringedalsvatnet. The hiking till Trolltunga stats in Skjeggedal and continues through the high mountains. It is a long hike and takes around 10-12 hours, 27.5km in total to reach Trolltunga and back. The hike is usually possible to do from mid-June (depending on when the snow melts in the mountains) until mid-September. Hiking to Trolltunga in winter is a big no-no. Weather in the high mountains can change quickly, therefore, the latest weather forecast before heading towards Trolltunga. If you desire to go for an adventurous hike, Trolltunga sure will impress you.

The last, but definitely not the least on our today’s list of 5 most thrilling tourist attractions around the world is Mount Huashan. It is a mountain situated in Huayin City. The Mount Huashan hike is famous as the ‘world’s most dangerous hike’ or the ‘plank walk’ in China. An adventurous walk in a narrow plank of wood bolted to the side of a cliff, 200 ft. in the air is what Mount Huashan provides for tourists. This exhilarating mountain is around 2154m tall and is considered to be one of the five sacred mountains in China. After climbing up the mountain for hours, you’ll witness the narrow plank. For safety, you will get harnessed up for the dangerous plank walk. The planks, the chains, the relentless threat of death over the side of the mountain, sounds adventurous, eh?

After the plank walk of around 50m, there’s a small platform to climb and enjoy the panoramic views. Not only the plank, but there are also many other attractions at the Mount Huashan including many sacred temples and shrines.
