Are you an Android user? If yes, then I am sure you might be suffering from numerous lagging problems on your Android device. Although Android is a great platform for mobile and tablet, you may experience problems with it at one point or another, just like any other operating system. However, the best thing about having an Android is maximum problems has a solution too.

In this article, I am going to write about some of the common Android problems that all Android users face and their solutions. So, without any further ado, let’s check them out.

WiFi Connectivity Issues

One of the first things that we check on our phone is our internet connection. If you use the internet via WiFi, you are likely to get a mini heart attack when you see there is no WiFi signal on your Android device. And many times, we face problems connecting to the internet in spite of our Android device being connected to the WiFi.

The solution to this problem: Go to WiFi> Settings> Advanced and choose to stay connected to WiFi during sleep. Alternatively, you can restart your Android device and WiFi router or enable Airplane mode for at least a minute. Then, again try to connect your Android device to WiFi.

Insufficient Storage Available

Android provides limited storage for apps and we don’t have the authority to expand it. Sooner or later, every Android device owner faces the problem of insufficient space.

There is only one solution to this problem and that is to start uninstalling unnecessary application on your Android. Yes, sure there are hundreds of applications in Google Play Store that helps you clean up your storage. But, in order to remove that little disturbing icon of insufficient space storage on the top of your notification bar, you will need to uninstall the cleaning application as well. So, what’s the point in installing that space cleaning app?

clear the cached files

So, instead of installing unnecessary cleaning apps, why not clean up the space from your Android device? To start off, go to Settings > Storage > Internal Storage > Cached Data. You will now see a confirmation window. Simply tap on Ok and you are good to go.

SD Card Issues

Your Android device may stop recognizing your SD card or may not show the data inside it. Usually, this happens when the SD card is not inserted correctly or it’s corrupted.

For this, you can take out the SD card and put it back inside properly. If this doesn’t fix the problem, then put the SD card in some other device to check if the problem is with SD card or your SD card slot. If that doesn’t help as well, then you will have to format your SD card. But, before formatting, make sure you have backed up your necessary files on the SD card by connecting it to the PC.

Alternatively, if your phone is accepting the SD card but not showing the data inside it, you can also format it from your phone. Just go to Settings, tap on Storage and Format SD Card to delete all the data and reuse it as a new SD card.

Android Keyboard Issues

A very common Android problem is its keyboard. Taking few seconds just to show up or not show up at all are some keyboard problems that Android users face. Usually, this happens when you are using a third party keyboard that is less stable. If you are using one of those fancy looking keyboards, you are likely to face the slow keyboard problems.

So, to get rid of this problem, you should uninstall the third party keyboard and start using the default Android keyboard. It runs much faster and it is more stable too. I know Android keyboards are not that attractive and have that pale color. But, if it makes your Android run faster and gives you a smooth experience, then why not start using it?

Frozen and Slow User Interface

The biggest cause of UI slowdown is too much data inside the phone and especially the SD card. My first suggestion would be to delete all the cache. You can follow #2 to clear the cached files from your Android.

If this doesn’t fix the problem, then you should take out your SD card and try using the phone. Slow read/write speed of SD card that is filled with tons of files is one of the reasons to slow UI. So, removing or formatting your SD card is the best solution to your frozen or slow UI problems.

Battery Draining

Battery draining is one of the biggest issues of smartphones, and Android phones aren’t an exception. Most smartphones are meant to last a single day. If you are not getting that much, then there is a problem with your Android device. Usually, the main reasons for this problem are some application that runs in the background like Google services and Facebook. These apps run in your background and drain your battery even when your phone is in the sleep mode.

A quick way to fix this problem is to reboot your phone. This will force all the misbehaving apps to shut down. If that doesn’t work, then go to Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge and force close the misbehaving applications.

Google Play Store Issues

Google Play Store is the main hub for downloading apps on Android devices. For instance, if you are getting an error like not downloading an app from the Google Play Store, then your smartphone might have a serious problem. When you are unable to download Android apps, you can’t do anything on your Android mobile.
