Samsung Unveils its New Giants: Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, Galaxy Fold, and more

The next generation of Galaxy ‘S’ series has finally been revealed. On Wednesday, February 20, Samsung unveiled its three new giants to the world – Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e along with a brand new foldable phone – Samsung Galaxy Fold. In a special unpacking event held in San Francisco, besides all these new giants, Samsung also revealed its new Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch Active, and a new Galaxy Tab S5e.

The three newly unleashed beasts sure do have interesting features that would take Android smartphones to a whole new level. We’ll be discussing these new flagship phones in detail. Here’s everything you need to know about the trio.

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e

Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+

Launched in three versions, the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+, they come in 5.8in, 6.1in, and 6.4in of the display, respectively. All of these phones feature an Infinity-O AMOLED display that covers virtually the entire front of the device, using a cutout to include the front selfie camera.

The Galaxy S10 and S10+ have a 12-megapixel variable-aperture (F1.5/F2.4) main rear camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide F2.2 camera, a 12MP F2.4 telephoto cam, and a 10-megapixel front shooter. Similar to the S10 and S10+, S10e also carries the same primary and ultra-wide rear cameras, however, there won’t be the telephoto cam for long-distance shooting.  

Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ Rear Look

The S10 and S10+ sport a minimum 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, although you can splurge on a whopping 12GB of RAM and 1TB of space on the S10+. On the other hand, Galaxy S10e starts off with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.

All three phones come in Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Green, with additional Ceramic Black and Ceramic White options for the Galaxy S10 Plus.

Galaxy S10 and S10+, both provide curved edges whereas the S10e consists a flat display.

Talking about the fingerprint sensor, S10 and S10+ have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the display and the S10e uses a capacitive model that’s embedded in the power button.

The Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e are now available for pre-booking with shipping scheduled to begin on March 8.

Samsung Galaxy Fold — The New Foldable Android

As mentioned earlier, Samsung also unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the brand new fully foldable smartphone. Samsung confirmed during the unpacking event that the Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in both 4G/LTE and 5G variants. It will go on sale on April 26 this year.

The foldable phone supports three-app multitasking and lets you seamlessly switch between smartphone and tablet mode. The Samsung Galaxy Fold carries 12GB of RAM and 512GB of Storage and boasts a 4.6-inch display, however, when folded out, you’ll get a large 7.3-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy Fold is the first-ever fully foldable smartphone introduced by Samsung. It sure is eye-appealing and is likely to be one of the top products of Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e


Galaxy Tab S5e

The newly introduced Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes with a slimmer look without all the bulk and providing only the essentials of a tablet. The tab is extremely lightweight; at 5.5mm thin and weighing only around 400g. Galaxy Tab S5e features a polished metal uni-body case design in a sophisticated metal finish. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes in three different colors – Gold, Silver, and Black.

Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Buds

Galaxy Buds

The UNPACKED event also introduced Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch. Galaxy Buds easily connect to the newly released Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+. You can use Bixby to play music and make calls, hands-free with these Galaxy Buds. The buds are available in three different colors – White, Black, and Neon Yellow.

Galaxy Watch Active

Galaxy Watch Active works like any other Smart Watches. It helps you to live a healthier life every day by tracking activities and easily linking up to the newly released flagships. The Galaxy Watches are available in four different colors – Black, Light Gray, Pink Beige, and Sea Green.
