Subisu CAN InfoTech 2018 to Begin from January 25

The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) is going to hold a mega event of Nepal’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector – Subisu CAN InfoTech 2018. The event will begin from Thursday, 25th January (Magh 11, 2074) at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu. The 24th “Nepal Information, Technology, Entertainment Show & Conference” will run for 6 days—until 30th January—with 10 A.M. being the starting time and  5:30 P.M. the closing time.

CAN InfoTech is a yearly organized event that focuses on promoting familiarity with the new advents in the technology sector. It is one of the most popular events in the field of information, communication, and technology. Both national and international companies come together under one roof to display their software, hardware, network devices and introduce networking solutions, mobile solutions, security systems, internet banking systems and wireless solutions at the mega event. CAN InfoTech also features IT-based services and e-governance as well.

The expo, CAN InfoTech 2018 is expected to be bigger than the previous years and is expected to see a larger number of visitors this year. As the previous one, Subisu is the title sponsor for the event, whereas, Motorola is the associate sponsor. Similar to the previous editions, CAN InfoTech 2018 will also be featuring a number of food and gaming stalls, utility stalls, etc. With all these excitements during the event, it sure is going to be one of the most visited exhibitions in Kathmandu and the country perhaps.

The President of CAN, Mr. Binod Dhakal said during a press meet, “CAN InfoTech has always been a flagship event in Nepal’s ICT industry and this time too we are committed to making the event friendly for IT enthusiasts. The primary aim of the event is to increase people’s access to information and technology.”

According to the CAN officials, the event will have 222 stalls displaying various information, communication, and technology products and services. Computer hardware sales and maintenance, dealers and distributors of power solutions and mobile accessories, Internet service providers, telecommunication firms, ICT colleges and training institutes, and software solution providers will participate in the annual ICT event.

The federation has priced the entry ticket at NPR. 100 for the general public and NPR. 50 for the students. And those buying tickets online will be provided with 20% discount on each ticket.

As mentioned above, everything about technology is provided under one roof, and that is exactly why the CAN InfoTech is also considered as a platform for product promotion and to share knowledge. Everyone visiting the event and also the participants can benefit from this event.
