OnePlus 3 in Nepal

OnePlus 3 to arrive in Nepal soon. Are you excited?

iHub Pvt Ltd., the authorized distributor of OnePlus mobiles in Nepal, recently conducted a bloggers’ meet to unveil OnePlus 3, the next flagship of OnePlus. The released date for OnePlus 3 in Nepal has not been determined yet but it will be launched, most probably, within July. According to iHub, after the launch of OnePlus 3, the mobile phones will be exclusively available through Kaymu, an online shopping site, for 4-5 days before being available authorized distributors and retail shops. The phone has been launched at $399 worldwide and the price of OnePlus 3 in Nepal is expected to be around 50,000.

When I first wrote a review of OnePlus 3, it was a stab to my mobile’s self-esteem. My Lenovo P70 is pretty decent phone. It has all the specs that one can look for in a good smartphone. It bought it last year from an uncle who had just brought it from Dubai. I instantly fell in love with it. All the charms of a good phone and still so affordable (around 20,000 then). A good solid year and still had no complaints. I still don’t. But while reviewing OnePlus 3, man, I just wished to have it. I still do. You can read the review here. And now the news says that the release of OnePlus 3 in Nepal will be sooner than anticipated.

OnePlus 3 was launched on 14th June 2016 via live stream VR event. Knowing how awesome the OnePlus series is, everyone was waiting for their new flagship model. I wasn’t very much up for it as I was more than satisfied with my mobile phone. A 2 GB RAM, Octa-core 1.7 GHz processor, 13 mega-pixels primary cam and the list of great features just goes on and on. This time around, I thought I’d see what is about OnePlus that makes people go nuts with its release. So, I went online and googled OnePlus 3. I was blown away by the amazing revolutionary specs. A 6 GB RAM, Dual-core 2.5 GHz Kryo & Dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo processor, 3000 mAh Li-Ion batteries and so on. All that in a price so reasonable. It provides tough competition to other popular smartphone companies like Apple and Samsung who latest offerings are not less than Rs. 70,000. OnePlus 3 smashes the specs game, outdoing even the latest iPhone 6S/6S Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge. Even a friend, who’s an Apple-savvy guy, is impressed by the phone.

OnePlus 3 is slowly gaining momentum among the Nepali consumers and I think OnePlus 3, given its specs and low price, it will definitely be a great hit. I am excited for its release and I have already started saving up. What about you? Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below.
