Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) has announced the five nominees of the People’s Choice Award category of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2075 on 25th of April 2018. The Pulsar Sports Award will be held at the Army Officer’s Club, Kathmandu on 17th of May 2018.
The event, Pulsar Sports Award will include eight categories including People’s Choice, Male, Female, Youth, Coach, Para-athlete, Special and Lifetime Achievement Awards.

The nominees for the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2075 has been chosen on the basis of the performances in 2074 B.S. Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, footballer Kiran Kumar Chemjong, volleyball’s Man Bahadur Shrestha, Pratima Sherpa of golf and Shyantu Shrestha of table tennis were picked by the Selection Committee headed by NSJF Secretary Raju Ghising.
The winner will be decided by SMS voting, Facebook likes, votes from the NSJF members and head coaches of the sports disciplines which were part of the seventh National Games. The SMS voting and Facebook likes will carry a weight of 50% and the votes from NSJF and coaches will carry the other half.
The winners of the male, female, people’s choice and coach will get Bajaj Pulsar NS160 motorcycle each, while other winners will get Rs 50,000 each.
Meanwhile, NSJF signed the memorandum of understanding with its voting partner THT Live. NSJF President Acharya and THT Live Senior Manager Bhupendra Tamang exchanged the MoU.
