Cyber Security for Girls and Women is going to kick off on 27th of April 2018 at KIST College of Management, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu. The event is going to begin from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Cyber Security refers to the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access. It is the protection of data or information available in the cyberspace from being manipulated or destroyed. Cybercrime has always been a threat and concern for many organizations and associations to handle the issue of cybersecurity deliberately.

Only about 11% of the world’s information security workforces are women. To change this scenario, Cyber Security for Girls and Women provides numerous opportunities for women to join this dynamic field of cybersecurity. It provides training, resources, and programming to enhance their cyber learning experience.
