The New Beasts – BMW G 310R and G 310GS Bookings Open in Nepal!

Good news for all the bike lovers in Nepal! After a long wait, BMW Motorrad Nepal has finally opened pre-bookings for its two new beasts – BMW G 310R and G 310GS. The booking starts from NPR. 100,000 for both the bikes. The G 310R is priced at NPR. 9,75,000, whereas the G 310GS is at NPR. 11,15,000. However, the introductory pricing for the BMW G 310R and G 310GS is NPR. 9,50,000 and NPR. 10,90,000, respectively.

There are three different colors to choose from – Red, Black, and White. The above-mentioned introductory prices are same for the Red and Black. However, if you go for the white one, there will be an addition of NPR. 25,000. That means the introductory price of BMW G 310R (white) is NPR. 9,75,000 and NPR. 11,15,000 for the G 310GS (white).

About BMW G 310R and G 310GS

According to the company, both of the new bikes have a 313 CC single cylinder liquid cooled DOHC, Fuel Injected engine featuring four valves. Similarly, it chunks out 34hp of power and 28Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bikes come with a reversed-cylinder design that slopes towards the rear wheel, instead of the conventional engine layout. Both bikes include USD front forks, rear monoshock with adjustable preload, Metzeler tires along with the ABS system.

The BMW G 310R has height, width, and length of 1080mm, 848mm and 2005mm. The height of the seat is 785mm with a ground clearance of 165mm. G 310R has a wheel-base of 1374mm.

Comparatively, BMW G 310GS has higher height, width and length than of G 310R at 1230 mm, 880mm and 2075mm. Since the bike is specially designed for touring purpose, it has the seat height of 835mm with a ground clearance of 220mm. 1420mm is wheel-base for G310GS. The GS version also gets a stubby front beak, radiator shrouds, longer-travel suspension setup, and some other mechanical features.

Warranty and Other Facilities

Both of the bikes, G 310R and G 310GS, comes with a warranty period of 3 years with unlimited kilometers. The first servicing is provided after the completion of the first 1000kms and the succeeding servicing intervals will come to every 10K km or one year.
