8 Mind-Broadening Facebook Pages You Must Follow

Facebook can be a huge black hole filled with rubbish and unimportant chatter. More often than not, we find ourselves delving deep into that black hole; looking into other’s confessions, wondering if they’re true, reading stories and following click baits. We all know we should limit our Facebook usage but are still unable to do so.

How many times have you found yourself going online to do something productive, like looking up a Graduate Study Program, and ended up actually scrolling through your News Feed for over 2 hours?

I know there are timers made specifically to control your social media usage for browsers, desktops and smartphones alike. But if you’re anything like me, you’ll know why I ended up deleting those apps and timers. They just didn’t let me Facebook and I was too bored to do anything else.

Therefore, I came up with a better solution. Since our immunity against Facebook has either been lost completely or didn’t exist in the first place, here’s what I did. We went on to follow better pages and cut out the unimportant chattering from my News Feed. I learned that it is actually possible to make your Facebook time informative and enriching. Rather than look at dumb posts that do nothing good for you and your brain and end up making you duller, there’s an alternative you can choose.

Below are what I find to be the must follow Facebook pages. If we are going to spend a major part of our day loitering around in Facebook, why not follow some amazing and informative pages to make that time at least a bit fruitful?
