Paramount Electronics, the official distributor of Nokia phones in Nepal will be launching the Nokia 8 in the first week of December.
Nokia 8 is a flagship device from Nokia which was launched in August 2017.
The device has a 5.30-inch touchscreen display having a resolution of 1400×2560 pixels. Talking about the memory it has a RAM of 4GB with 64 GB of internal space which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
The device packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and another 13-megapixel with the same aperture as a front camera for selfies. In addition, Nokia 8 runs on Android 7.1.1 is backed up by a non-removable battery of 3090mAh with quick charge 3.0.
Nokia 8 has all the necessary sensors which include Fingerprint (front-mounted), Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, and Barometer.
Customers will get one year warranty from the company. “Nokia 8 is for customers who want a high-end Nokia phone,” said Raj Sharma, national sales manager of Paramount Electronics. The phone will be available in Glossy Blue color.

Nokia is also a major contributor to the mobile telephony industry, having assisted in the development of the GSM, 3G and LTE standards, and was, for a period, the largest vendor of mobile phones in the world, its dominance also extending into the smartphone industry.
Nokia has already launched a number of phones in Nepal which include Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3.
