International Youth Forum | Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals

International Youth Forum on Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is going to be held on 17th and 18th of August 2018 at Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference will begin from 8:30 A.M. on 17th of June and 8 P.M. on 18th of June.

Youth for Human Rights Nepal in collaboration with various public and private partners is set to host the International Youth Form. Youth for Human Rights Nepal is an official representative organization for Youth for Human Rights International to coordinate activities in Nepal.

The conference, International Youth Forum is a broad platform for youth that assists them to review the progress of the sustainable development goals, share ideas, experiences, and innovative tactics for effectively contributing to the sustainable development goal framework and its implementation.

The theme for this year’s youth conference is ‘Partnering with the Youth to achieve SDGs: Moving from policy to action.’ The youth conference brings together young delegates from all over the world to exchange views, share experiences on different issues, detect common worries and to develop realistic action plans to rebuild communities that meet the needs and aspirations of young people.

The youth forum is expected to bring together about 200 participants of diverse background and knowledge from the different parts of the world. The interactive panel discussions and workshops will be introduced during the event and participants will directly engage in dialogues to identify and share practical, evidence-based solutions that can support Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals.
