“Lately, our main concern is how to maximize poultry production with minimum cost. In the expo, poultry farmers can learn about technologies that help them cut their production cost sharply,” he said.

“As per latest data, a whopping 10 billion rupees is spent on chicken feed alone every year, which has pushed the prices of chicken and eggs further up. In this context, finding a technology that is cheap is imperative,” he said.

Around 200 stalls of both Nepali and foreign companies are expected to be featured at the Nepal Poultry and Livestock Expo 2017. According to NPF deputy chairperson, Tikaram Pokhrel, poultry entrepreneurs from 12 different countries, including India, China, USA, France, Germany, and Holland, are participating in the Nepal Poultry and Livestock Expo 2017.

A conference is scheduled where domestic and foreign poultry experts will present their reports on new coming technologies. Over 70 billion income has been perceived as an investment by the poultry sector of Nepal.

This is the second poultry expo to be organized in Nepal. With people giving good reviews about the last year’s poultry expo, hope you’ll attend this year’s Nepal Poultry and Livestock Expo 2017.
